Fuck putting it in orbit; How about we put it literally on the moon. That would make Hendo and 42 famous. We'd have bragging rights for literally going to the moon for real.
Getting it there isn't too hard. Basic astrophysics, and it would be pretty cheap.
Landing it ... not so simple, or cheap.
With that said, it's doable, but would need allot more than 30K, and it would take a while to get from orbit to the moon to be economical (about 1 year to do it cheap). However, it would create a media blitz of epic proportion for sure.
It would also be just damn cool.
