Change is inevitable. It is not actually a bad idea to profit from holding Bitcoin but we should do it with understanding that it is not a get quick rich syndrome. There is a process to it, learn, understand and educate others about blockchain technology and Cryptocurrency.
Inability to use Bitcoin to buy goods or pay for services is largely due to its  fluctuations and I believe in the near future Bitcoin will be more stable.
