I was not buying ethereum before and last year I see bitcoin as the only good Cryptocoins to hold. Around April when ethereum fall below @800 I see it as an opportunity to buy and since I bought it has refused to recover above that level. Did you think ethereum will recover this year again.
This year? Nah I doubt that it could hit $400, because of the continue onslaught from projects who's holding alot of ETH. But I think it will not go down below $200 again and this will be the stable price until we see some investors renewed their interest on this coin.
Besides, EOS who is now a competitor is also a bagholder of ETH and there are a lot of projects as well just waiting for the right time to dump as well.
I advise you to just hold and wait for the right time to liquidate so that you can mitigate your lost. Its just sad that the same investors who brought ETH to its highest are the same people (ICO projects) who have brought its dramatic fall.
