You must choose it by yourself. Everone have some favourite altcoins, but thats doesnt mean, that they are profitable to invest.
Yes, someone can give us useful advice. Here, if you read, most of the suggestion was great. In December 2017, the bull market started. If he bought Monero or waves or any other altcoins then you made big profits for the bull run! And now, it is the bear market, and people are suggesting good altcoin's name to buy! If he buys them then really he would make a profit in the next bull run.
