Wow - just became aware of this thread and I am honored that I am ranked second behind LoyceV!  

I feel I am already an unpaid moderator.  I leave damning remarks, hand out coveted merit, and get harassed via PM and email for removal or donation of the same, all for no compensation.

I would welcome a promotion to Moderator, simply because I have spent five years here helping out for free.  

(I doubt this poll will have any effect on new moderators...)
