There are countless people living in agony due to unconquered and incurable diseases.
Systematically organized health data from numerous patients are needed to combat the diseases.
Though the health data that patients voluntarily generate accounts for 60% of the entire health data,
it exists in fragmented forms mainly owing to a lack of solid foundation which enables collecting and organizing the data.
This is why we started this project.
Humanscape is a blockchain-based community that collects and compile individual patients health data
in a very systematic way to increase opportunities for drug development and clinical participation.
Profit earned through this data will be returned to patients on blockchain.

CommunityHealth records shared by patients, currently scattered around different patient communities focused on certain diseases, can be browsed in a single platform. The rarer disease it is, the less information is available. In this respect, every little piece of information is valuable and can be a great help.
Data hubWhen it comes to incurable or rare diseases, relatively small amount of patient data can be still useful for pharmaceutical companies and clinical studies institutes to gather target patients and conduct researches. For example, in 2011, there was a case which existing medical research paper was refuted by 149 ASL patients data.
Why Blockchain?Peoples health data should not be monopolized by a few but must be safely controlled and utilized in transparent manner for the public interest.
Patients health data has been in the hands of the third parties who try to monopolize and commercialize it. Thus, it was nearly impossible for patients to know to what extent their health record is collected, who needs it and how it is used.
However, on blockchain that provides transparent environment in data usage, anyone can look up the transactions of data and ultimately patients can retain control and authority over their own health data.
Human Token (HUM)HUM is a meta token of SMT. Initially, token conversion event was scheduled for existing token holders after issuing ERC20 tokens on Ethereum and Steem-based tokens through SMT in the near future.
