You want a beginners section in the local boards so people can ask what the best wallet is to use there in their local language as well? Or the 1000th post about merit in your "Local Meta" board..? Seems extremely overkill.
LOL. That's all those boards would be, if anyone even posted in them at all. Honestly, I stopped reading OP after the first paragraph because it's a bloated mess, and I had to move on to the rest of this thread.
All those local sections? This forum already doesn't have enough moderators, and adding more parts to the whole would mean Theymos would have to manage an insane number of people, plus pay them all. Not going to happen, I'm sure.
In addition, people forget that this is just a discussion forum, and it mainly happens to be in English. It's not going to be able to please everyone, and there's absolutely nothing keeping anyone from starting their own non-English forum for bitcoin discussion. The real issue, and why people don't do just that, is that there would be no signature campaigns on a new forum because nobody would want to advertise on a forum with no traffic.
Why does this strike me as a case where immigrants won't adapt to the already existing culture and instead want to bend the culture to them? Probably the American in me, I guess. And I don't mean that in a racist way, but it's unrealistic and frankly it's disrespectful for someone to do that.
It seems pretty clear what your real reasoning is behind this idea; more sections to post crap in without people noticing/paying attention to it as much...?
I don't know if that's actually the case. How spammed are the local boards right now? It's always been my impression that people barely even post there because most campaigns don't pay for local board posts. I've read some complaints in Meta about the French and Russian (I think) sections being invaded by shitposters but not much else.
