There are two types of crypto experts. One type is the one who keeps talking about how the price will go up or down in the following days, you are talking about this type, I call them "finance crypto" people and yes none of them really knows what they are doing.

However there is another type that works on the betterment of the blockchain and tries to improve the space by doing something innovate and generally creates a new coin or joins an already existing one to improve it, I call them "tech crypto" people and those people are still experts on what they are doing and improve the quality of the coins we have right now.
