Maybe they waited for their patent approval. But if this was in 2017 they already got way more than this.
Even if they waited for their patent, they could have collected more money in 2017, without the patent, only with the idea.
Yeah, unfortunately, they did the right thing but in return, they raise less money.
Still, this is way more healthy. 2017 disrupted the ecosystem.
