Seems to me that it is better to err on the side of caution.
I have never used Changelly and after reading this (and other threads) have no plan to.

What do you think Changelly scammers will say? Changelly, Changenow and Atomic Swaps are all part of the same group of scammers.
Think about it, 110 BCH (which was around 11 BTC at the time of the exchange) has been held by these scammers for several months. They selectively scam users.
