Near future? Unlikely. For Bitcoin to affect our daily lives it would take decades in my opinion. Fiat and other established digital payment system aren't going anywhere or replaced by Bitcoin anytime soon. Bitcoin will gain more popularity and adoption in the coming years, but most people would only use it as an asset.
