Hello Eth_daddy! Thank you for your support. Read the article about Soundeon:
https://www.crypto-economy.net/en/soundeon-music-industry/Your efforts to stop ticket scalping are note worthy, but not explained in too much detail in the white paper. How will the use of a ticket contract and tokens stop scalping? Will there be a set token price for the tickets? Say I need to resell my ticket because I can no longer attend, how do I resell my ticket?
Each Soundeon Ticket will have its very own smart contract. This smart contract will govern the ticket, from allowing resells, to capping resell value, to allowing the event organizer to monetize from the difference between the resell value and face value of a given ticket. This means that Soundeon Tickets are on-chain and will be able to be purchased and sold via our app and third-party solutions in a white-labeled manner. If your concert organizer allows for resell you can resell the ticket within the custom parameters set by the ticket seller (i.e. x number of resells, x cap of resell value, etc.). Our ticketing scalping and ticket fraud strategy is led by Professor Alan Sorensen, a professor of Economics at University of Wisconsin, previously at Stanford and a global policy authority (widely quoted in UK's government Waterson report). Our goal is to ensure that economically, scalping becomes very unattractive.
