Yes. I'm aware of that, which is why I've bought a pair of safety goggles on eBay for $5! They're red and are great for protecting against Red and Green lasers. Now, I'm going to buy a Laser Power Meter to know what power output my laser pointers have.
Maybe someday we will be able to put ourselves into lasers, and blast ourselves to another star or planet at the speed of light. If only we can shine, right along with us, whatever it takes to materialize us back again, from laser light, into material being on that other planet.
That would be cool.
