How does Dero's use of uncles differ from Ethereum's use of uncles?
Does Ethereum also thwart 51% attack?
1. "Uncles" are accepted in Dero.
2.
https://www.crypto51.app/about.htmlThat doesn't really answer any of my questions. My question is more technical than thatt. I'll wait for the developers reply.
Ethereum uncles may receive a mining reward but are not added to the chain. In DERO "uncles" receive a mining reward but are also added to the blockDAG. Ethereum follows the longest chain rule and in theory is still susceptible to a 51% attack. In DERO all blocks are added to the blockDAG and any blocks with duplicate tx spends are removed preventing the typical 51% attack.
Thanks! That clears it up.
