On the whitepaper it says 1 ETH = 20,000 NAT which effectively makes one NAT token worth 0.00005 ETH which converted to USD is $0.0099. Which is well below $0.01 ... someone please correct me if this is incorrect.

You beat me to it; I think there is the bonus involved. I think the exchange is to allow investors from other regions since they have quite a list of banned countries. I think it is a smart move going through an exchange to sell the tokens.
Okay, now this makes sense. I prefer it when ICO's hold their token sales on exchanges, especially trusted exchanges like BitMart. Hopefully, they will be the first exchange to list the Natmin token so investors get full accessibility.
