Hmm, I guess altcoins are now gaining more attention because they are very much simpler for the train and investment these days. Now, atlcoins are far simpler than BTC and other real world assets because they are coming out very cheap. Take any example of the ICO that you see today or doing bounties for, you will see that they are having very cheap rates around 0.001 to 0.10 USD per coin. Thats the lowest rate any coin can have. These are thus cheap to purchase and you loose nothing if anything goes wrong.
I guess there is no specific coin which is very profitable or less profitable., there are always pros and cons in various coins. So you just have to go with the flow.
Yeah you are right Altcoin are getting attention of the investors because bitcoin has destroyed thousands of investors. They have lost millions of dollars in bitcoin. Now they are looking towards Altcoin and think that Altcoin will recover their deficits. For me the top 5 Altcoin are Ethereum, Ripple, Liza, Monero and Torn. I think these the best Altcoin in the list these days.
