If being awkward bugs you, the root of the problem is in your state of mind or well-being.
Big examples are
typos and grammatical errors, people will think of something that was badly written differently. Most "
mature" or "
educated" audiences wont judge you based on small errors, but based on the message (
except for totally incomprehensible context).
Those who frequently "
lol'd" at those "
small" details can be considered as immature or just really stupid and you need to train yourself to easily disregard those type of reactions (
and thinking of those kind of reactions).
Directly asking for donations in every document is bad however (
not to your reputation but to the result), you can change the context of the donation message into something neutral or positive like "
Did it help? Buy me a coffee: 1btcaddress" or something similar.
Use your Signature if it's available.
