I think that to make good money you just need to choose a strong altcoin. I am sure that with a good altcoin you can earn very well. I am sure that altcoins have a great future.
Knowing if it's strong or not solely depends on our analysis, but we cannot come up with a good analysis if we will not make an effort to do some research.
Investing blindly by following other people's advice won't help us in the long run because along the way there are crucial moments where we have to decide.
