Guys, as you can see we got a huge interest to our coin by some group of whales/miners. Our chain got attacked 3 times by now.
First one was when that group tried to enable spork #8 through the increasing difficulty to the skyrocket. They managed to get a few blocks.
Second one was when the blockchain stopped due to the retarded increase of difficulty.
Then the blockchain backed to the normal with the difficulty decrease and masternode activation.
We thought it will be okay from now on, but in 40 blocks of private mining we got attacked by the spork again due to the low difficulty.
We wanted to make a mining period to attract new supporters for our project. Instead of that we lost 2 days of 15 hours daily work of the whole team and a huge portion of stress.
I have no idea what intentions does those third party had. Either they wanted to earn some money or they wanted to ruin the start of our project. Well, either way is okay, since it shows their interest in the coin that has all the chances to become one of the best masternode projects.
Still we do not want to give coins to those who had bad intentions to our project. With the huge pain I need to make the decision of the blockchain restart without the Proof of Work phase. It is the right choice to do. The official «stop» block is 414. We will redeposit all the mined rewards until that block.
I am really afraid to lose your trust in our work. We got a lot of struggles in those 10 months we are working and that launch was one of the hardest days in Midas history. We received a lot of support by you guys and that keeps me ticking now.
