If you want Short-term profit, you can get profit via trading and also ICO invest. Not all ICO profitable, some of ICO profitable, experience is most important for invest in ICO. Others is trading, buy a small amount of coin and sell this with a small profit. If you continue this, you can earn a good amount. So, decision yours..
Investing in icos is not really a good idea at the moment because as you can see the market of cryptocurrencies is not really doing well at the moment so most likely you are going to lose your money if you decide to invest in icos, in my opinion the best thing you can do is to wait until the market improves or the risk that you will be taking will be simply too high and the rewards too low.
