Agree with you, that is why before you enter in one thing we should need to study first how it will works but there are some or many people who are very greedy to earn money without knowing the risk they have, crypto currency is not promising source of income but you can earn by putting some effort in some earning method avoid greediness to avoid loses.
Anyway, knowledge and basic understanding are really needed in any case, investing in Crypto is indeed more risky especially if you easily trust someone you don't know, because it also happened to me when I first knew Crypto and then I lost the money.
