I do not think that many organisations check the diplomas of the specialists. It is rather difficult to check diplomas and it takes a lot of time to wait the unswer from university to the request. That is why there are so much fake diplomas becouse people knows that nobody will check the diploma.
In addition, an employer can test a candidates knowledge on the spot. An experienced professional can easily test a candidate for suitability for work.
I changed a lot of different jobs and for different reasons. But what I can tell you is: most employers just look at your documents, and if they check knowledge, that is very superficial.
