People gamble not just for entertainment because of the chance to win big money. It is entertaining because it gives you excitement even if you lose in the end.

. Maybe there are some gamblers who do this kind of action to prevent being depressed I think. Sometimes when I gamble, I'm doing the same thing. Being happy despite of losing all of my money. This prevents me from being stressed and one more, if I have some profit already I already buy some foods so that even I lose all of my money at least my stomachs isn't lost
