I am looking at building a small rig and I've noticed many folks have largish HDD, including the OP here.

I'm just curious about why?

Is it because you want to use it for other things, i.e. gaming, file storage, etc?

I'm considering building a small, mining-only rig, linux based, with a 16 GB or 32 GB SSD and no other storage. Maybe 2 or 3 GPUs.
