yeah my first bctalk account was in 2009.
i moved around the world a lot, so have ducked in and out.
What happened with your account from 2009?

forgot the password, didn't use it for so long.. got locked out.

same with my second account :/

If you did not value your BTC talk forum accounts enough in order maintain them, then the existence of such account(s) (if so) would not necessarily contribute to your current supposed increased status that you are attempting to assert with your current account.

Accordingly, if you have meaningful forum experiences, then perhaps you will be able to share those forum experiences and continue to make contributions to the forum, and sooner or later your experiences could be able to shine through your contributions, perhaps?  that is if you don't get too caught up in trying to assert largely irrelevant status claims that no one can really verify (and it does not matter too much) anyhow.

By the way, if you are merely attempting to assert status without having access to the prior accounts, then that seems merely a sign that you are relying on the wrong types of factors in order to get other posters to appreciate your past contributions, assuming they exist.

i am not entirely sure that it was lack of upkeep... i recall owning multiple domains.. one of which eventually became a btc gambling site and my email which was used to register somethingorother@lecoquin.net fell by the way side when i gave up the domain...

and yeah, it's just another internet forum so i'm not that precious about it all to be honest.

so whatever...

and it does not matter too much

is the moral of the story.
