Well, Linda staking and masternode application is very good but for me it is expansive to use with monthly payments. Hope they can offer better pricing in the future.
Running a masternode or staking costs nothing if you're using the Linda (Qt) wallet (except for the cost of owning and running a computer 24/7 of course, if it's not an existing computer).
Do you mean the $10/month fee for using My Staking Wallet? Using MSW is optional and it was introduced as a way of simplifying staking, making it possible to do so without having to configure or run a computer 24/7. Of course that means you must instead rent a virtual server, hence the small fee. MSW is better suited to running a masternode, or staking larger amounts, where your earnings will far exceed the monthly fee.
kel-alt Oct 23 - I have been using My Staking Wallet since Aug 22 with no earning at all showing up. I am about to just withdraw and stop paying the server fee. According to someones comment here I have well over break even amount of coins. Any ideas as to why this might happen? I got the email regarding the wallet restart and I think it has been about a month since then. Thanks, k
Hi,
I'd recommend opening a discussion about it with the community and developers on Discord (Invite:
https://discord.gg/gyfGdBP). I'm just relaying information here but, from my own experience, MSW works and it works well. My average reward for a single masternode per day is 3200 Linda. However, I don't know how many coins you're staking but if you have less than required for a masternode (ie < 2 mil), I'd recommend running the Linda Qt wallet instead, since that's free to use.
But that's just my opinion. The Linda Discord community and developers may have different/better advice so I'd strongly recommend asking there too.
