At this point I would probably wait a couple weeks for the price to drop. With the significant drop in profitability, I would assume the price will come down to about $3200 or less

I agree with Montaero...wait a little as the income is still stabilizing in the range of $20-$25 per day. Seems like Whatsminer D1 is still going through tests by the manufacturer and the income is around $55 but I guess like all good things it will reduce once the November batch is activated.
The Alibaba stores will offer you a good price for bulk as they can see whats happening with the price but check the shipping charges and their payment method if you are not from the USA. I negotiated a price and their payment methods, shipping and Alibaba fees were taking the price to 15-20% more than we agreed. Furthermore, they use their own estimation of BTC which added another $150 on the price, for my order. With all of that said, AKMiner gave me a price and offerred payment options of which I agreed to BTC. The platform they use is
www.huobipro.com. I worked out the BTC value and confirmed it with AKMiner and made payment.
As mentioned in another post, the parce was collected by DHL and I received the shipping update. So the expected delivery date is 26 October, if there are no issues at customs. This far AKMiner has delivered on all of their commitments, just waiting to receive the delivery.
