About HDAC you guys are talking about...

They did a algo-swap from Lyra2Rev2 to Skunk

Quote: The change will be applied from block number 151,880, and it will be applied on (GMT + 9) October 22, 2018.

All the guys mining there did just come "here" to us.
That's why the hashrate went up...

Just asking myself how this coin had this hashpower...anyway.
It is what it is....

Too bad. They occupied more than 50% of the Vertcoin network. Is this from a single mining pool or are they scattered everywhere?
So the date October 22, 2018 is already passed but the profit remaining still very slow for Z1.So maybe the reason of low profit is not HDAC ? Or is it normal after this change the profit to not increase ?

You guys don't get how this works do you? Blows me away that people willing to spend 5K on a miner don't even comprehend the basics.

Yes its because of HDAC, the fact that it forked on Oct 22 means nothing, let me break it down.

On October 21st, lets say there were 10,000 people using Z1 ASICS to mine HDAC , HDAC didn't like that, decided to fork on Oct 22.

Now, its Oct 22, and all 10,000 of those Z1 ASICS can no longer mine HDAC, so, they are going to jump to the next most profitable coins, which is, MONA, XVG, and VERT.

Those 10,000 ASICS will continue to mine these coins, because HDAC will never be mineable with a Z1 ever again, AKA the profit is not ever going to increase, unless the coins go up in value, or a new coin comes out that pulls people off of MONA/XVG/VERT

Make sense?
