It was announced in BTCZ discord early. The team answered this accusations a few pages back.

I saw an "answer". In a more common manner it will be - " yes we mined 40k blocks almost in solo. But some suckers from btcz discord managed to get few. Thats why our premine is a little bit smaller than 500 000 000 coins. And we are waiting for idiots to dump them"

You can believe what you want. I was there, in BTCZ discord, when a channel was created. Then we had a discussion and people start fighting, so we took it down. Afterwards, people joins BZEdge discord and mined it on PUBLIC pools. Nothing was hidden, access was public. Also, at that time ZEN (a BIG player) was under attack due to asics, after first batch of Z9 arrived. How do you think it would work for BZE if some asics and a bad player wanted to have fun?

The team is transparent, the only people that didnt mined are those that were not in BTCZ discord and those that didnt agree with BZE.
