Hi all.
I could really use some help now.
I have an 8 GB Transcend SD HC card on which I'm trying to get the latest Braiins-OS copied with a Windows 10 machine by following instructions in post #24 in this thread. However it seems I can't get anything to stick to the card.
The computer is an Acer emachines with different integrated card readers and Windows 10 as stated above.
As windows by itself doesn't recognize ext file system i formatted the SD-card with FAT32 file system. Is this ok?
I then followed the instructions in post #24, but afterwards windows shows 7,44 GB free out of 7,44 GB. Can't find any files or folders on the card either. To me it seems that I didn't get anything to stick to the card.
After this I downloaded Etcher and did the same procedure. Everything seems fine during the process, but still 7,44 GB free out of 7,44 GB and not a single file on the SD card afterwards.
And yes. I have noticed the manual lock on the SD card and it was unlocked while I tried to copy the image to the card.
So what am I missing? I'm not very familiar with Linux and don't have a Linux machine available. I would like to install Braiins-OS directly to the miners control board (to get settings to stick through a reboot and to forever get rid of the Bitmain autotune), but with no Linux machine, my knowledge in Linux and with the instructions I can find out there it's a no go. However i thought that it would be a peace of cake to put the SD.img on the SD card and try it out on my January Batch S9 13.5 TH at first. I stand corrected.

Am I the only Windows user here that can't get this to work? Not many other seems to be complaining.
BR.
