No, that is POW and Agate is POS.That means you will be able to stake Agate instead of mining it.

Yeah but it is better to have a good amount of AGT to receive good reward, am guessing the wallet weight plays a lot in this aspect, i think 50k is a decent amount for the node but that will roughly amount to $3,500 with the sales price.
