There is no amount of coins required for masternode since there is no masternode feature in the coin. It is a pure PoW, just like bitcoin does with its PoW system.
It might be they are getting a newer version in the future where you can stake from the wallet to mine the coin by doing PoS method instead of PoW. Hope you understand.
Probably yes, they are making some newer version that will gives more convenient and accomplish project. I am also sure that the project has all the chance to grow they have the best team in the market and cooperation and good relationship with the community and people also has contribution for the project success.
