Hmmm...our bank seems to think the BIC and address is needed, so I'll have to ask about this. But whatever you do, *DO NOT* forget to include your public account ID with deposits (the ID is also called your reference code on the deposit instruction pages). Leaving out your public account ID will cause a delay in crediting your account.
Almost all the guys you are quoting are dutch. On most banks in The Netherlands, you only have to fill in the IBAN. The bank then calculates the BIC and displays it. Recently(or soon) the whole country and I think whole of Europe is transferring from national bank account numbers to IBAN. This way we should be able to pay anyone within the european union with only a IBAN number and no BIC.
