Correct. But we can only assume the with the breach of the 1 line of coins, the thief had access to every private key that was held by this company.
So any coin from this company should be considered compromised / untrustworthy

Where did you get this information that only 34 were sold? If the run failed it could have been viewed as a failure and the thief may have just disregarded them.
