You need to plug in an Ethernet cable and run a proxy on a computer, as long as the cube is talking to your computer through the network you can physically put it anywhere you want. Proxy needs to be running somewhere though, although there might be some way to use a getwork URL, but from what I know it's slower and doesn't work as well, if it's even possible.
