What is Oxid Coin?


   Oxid Coin is decentralized cryptocurrency that utilizes a peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority or banks.

   Oxid Coin is a base to OXIDEX Decentralized Crypto Portal, powered by a network of Staking Nodes, Masternodes and Supernodes.

   Staking Nodes protect the network via POS mechanism. Masternodes and Supernodes are the backbone to Oxid's network storing and serving the blockchain to the users as well as validating transactions.

   Our goal is to build a Crypto Portal (called OXIDEX) with applications for our users to invest, trade and have a market place to buy and sell goods as well as an escrow service for our user protection.

   As we progress, we will be adding new applications and looking for partnerships, aiming to make a one stop full-service crypto solution.


Masternodes

   Oxid Masternodes are network servers that are constantly connected to the Oxid Network and perform service functions like validating, storing and serving the blockchain to the users. Masternodes are the backbone to the Oxid's network.

   Anyone with 5000 OXID can set up and operate an Oxid Blockchain Masternode, which helps to provide an additional security, reliability, and performance to the blockchain. For their dedicated service Masternodes receive 40% of each mined Oxid block reward.


Supernodes

   Anyone with 25000 OXID can set up and operate an Oxid Blockchain Masternode, which helps to provide an additional security, reliability, and performance to the blockchain. For their dedicated service Masternodes receive 40% of each mined Oxid block reward.
