these days, i'm the same way. the trollbox era is over. there are low-level pump groups everywhere you look, and no one can move the market anymore. there's no fontas or wolong anymore. and if there were, the market would probably ignore them. it's a new era now. the trollbox is strictly for entertainment.

back in the day though, the trollbox on btc-e was awesome. it was a pump and dump machine and if you knew how it worked, you could print money. there were a handful of times when fontas would enter the trollbox and drop "pre-pump hints" and the smart guys would accumulate. once the pump was officially announced in the trollbox, you should already have had asks set on the order book. the best trade i made in 2013 was a 5x move on TRC in a matter of 5 minutes. the poloniex trollbox had its moments too during the 2017 run.
