Maybe we can use ripple for long-term and short-term investment because ripple can increase higher in the short-term although after reached the higher price, it will back to the lower price. And if this is happening, then you can buy more ripple so you can have much ripple in your wallet and you can sell once the price increase back in the future. But still, we don't know when ripple can increase higher, and we can only make a buy order when it's down and sell when it's up.
