There are literally hundreds of posts on the topic, but to summarize it yet again, you need to create content that is interesting to someone else in some way (and be lucky enough to be spotted by someone who has sMerits and wants to reward your post). You need to invest time and effort into such posts, and not limit it to one decent post, but turn it into a recurring habit. What will never get you merit is simply by reporting socials through posts as you posting history now shows.

Everyone who wants to rank-up needs to racket their brains a bit, and come up with some decent content that surpasses the one-liner generic response. More than specifying how to get merit, which is totally subjective, it is likely better indication to have some draft guidelines on how one will never be merited:

-   By adding nothing of value to the conversation.
-   By copy/[spin]/pasting content from another site or post.
-   By concentrating solely or even largely on campaigns and social reporting.
-   By having a dreadful posting history (it is often looked at).
-   By posting is spam-megathreads.
-   Etc.
