Bounty hunting can be profitable only if you have a bitcointalk.org account of not less than Full Member and a Facebook/Twitter acc with several hundred friends or followers (it is preferrable to have all of them).
One can also do translation bounties, but these are risky since the translators are frequently scammed by unscrupulous projects.

At the same time, trading requires some initial capital to be invested and a lot of nerves/time to follow the fluctuations of the market.

I personally chose bounty hunting because trading on crypto market is too much exausting for one having a stable full-time job.
