Corrupt officials in some countries will not go for the use of blockchain technology, but European countries with low levels of corruption are likely to integrate this technology into their structure and further reduce the level of corruption. But this is just one example of the use of blockchain technology in the economic structure of a country.
I think its impossible. If a government is already corrupted why would they implement blockchain technology?.
Yeah, for instance, someone recently shared the Canadian government integrating blockchain and then displaying their spending to the public which is how I believe things should be done. We all know though, that this is something that can absolutely happen in a developed country where things are generally monitored and public officials do not see their position as a means to loot, knowing the effect it would bring to their career.

However, for the third world and some developing countries, where corruption is like bread and butter for them, I still believe one way or the other, they will find it extremely slow to ever integrate blockchain technology unless they get to see a good leader that is well exposed and ready to take the bull by the horn, and in that case, that must be some powerful individual who will be ready to step on toes.
