Two days ago Vitalik Buterin announced that Ethereum 2.0 is "Really Not So Far Away".
The major change will be the transfer to proof of stake concensus algorithm (aka Project Casper). For those who don't know, proof of stake is ownership-based and will not require "mining" as we know it.
What are your thought about this?
I think this is a welcome development to the entire cryptocurrency community in general and the Ethereum investors in particular, the emergence of Proof of Stake(Project Casper) consensus mechanism will boost the dwindling Ethereum price. Thanks for the information.
