Two days ago Vitalik Buterin announced that Ethereum 2.0 is "Really Not So Far Away".
The major change will be the transfer to proof of stake concensus algorithm (aka Project Casper). For those who don't know, proof of stake is ownership-based and will not require "mining" as we know it.
What are your thought about this?
Last I heard was this will be next year - 2019. Anyway, lets see where this leads.
As it is right now, Ethereum has the most number of wallet users even compared to btc. I can't recall where or which article it was.
