No, I don't think if 2017 is the best year for Crypto, I believe in the year 2020 the world of Crypto will be a better than 2017. Because in the future people will more understand about Crypto so making the demand for Crypto increase dramatically.
I agree with you, 2017 was perfect yes but still there is few people who know about crypto and bitcoin, every year this will spread and after few years we can see better years for crypto world I think this is clear and we need some time to see this things.
