It is true, sadly.
Instead of using what little intelligence these people have to try to be creative and bring something innovative to the table, these scammers just want to steal 21st Century scamming style.
Indeed. They insult the intelligence of the bitcointalk community with their cheap tactics.

Sadly it seems that the apple didn't fall far from the tree as Boris's son has also launched a scam ICO called Republia.
Scamming seems to be a family tradition.
