Sure, this forum has an impact on crypto, and surely this forum started with bitcoin because it was, then, the only game in town, yet your characterization of "crypto community" seems to suggest that you don't understand the difference between bitcoin and crypto - and that you just amalgamate them into one vague word, and  3) your suggestion that this merit system was implemented as a gift also seems to be misleading (and perhaps another passive way of merit begging), when in fact a more accurate depiction of this merit system would be as a tool or even an obstacle against shitposting and account farming.
