I suggest two types of developments. Either cryptocurrencies in general will cease to be interesting, or they will begin to be massively introduced into the economy. I think the second option is more likely.
It is hard to believe that crypto will cease to be interesting. Even if the crypto goes underground, it will return with new forces and take new heights. Therefore, we are doomed to success 
.A lot of users managed to get a large percentage of profits in the cryptocurrency market. Therefore, they will not leave the market, but will adapt to its new conditions.
