The switchover to POS was pretty much trouble free for me. The masternodes all kicked in at the correct block.
Does it really count as not smooth if I had to restart my wallet?

Thats good to hear! I didnt even had to restart my wallet, so yes thats sort of considered as 'not smooth' ;p Haha
