Only the tech companies are moving around a vast amount (they tend to be overpriced and speculative on future growth far more), most companies are still quite stable day to day where as BTC changing from 6000 to 6500 in quite short amount of time still represents a 8% change.
I think BTC trading on Chicago futures has changed its nature some perhaps.   Also quite alot of anticipation in various ETF applications and even moves in alternate crypto protocols which are sold in BTC often could be a large part of support to pricing
