I've been Pete's research partner on a scientific project for a few years now...years; and I consider Pete one of my best friends, we talk like at least three or four times a week for hours at a time now for about 4 years I think. Maybe longer, but I don't expect you to know any of that, nor do I really want to discuss defending my own honor really, It kinda takes energy away from chasing the real criminals here... the same folks that did the butterfly vopycat site scam. ug
If the recent trades were fishy I would raise concerns indeed. The fact that you two are close friends just make it more understandable that he would instantly back you up. The need to "defend your honor" is an natural consequence of your action. Note that I don't think post such as "trololol hes a scammer" is of any use, but for those that provide some sort of evidence that point any direction is of use, and should not be instantly diminished just because they point in a direction some may not like.
